Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has reduced the price of a 12kg cylinder of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) by Tk 244 for the running month.

The new price will come into effect from Sunday (April 2), the BERC Chairman Md Nurul Amin announced this at press briefing at its office today.

The price was Tk 1,422 in March.

As per the new price, per kg of LPG will now cost Tk 98.17.

Meanwhile, the price of autogas was slashed to Tk 54.9 from Tk 66.22.
