The Election Commission (EC) has said according to its list, the number of new voters has increased by 2,698,720.

On Saturday, the Election Commission released the updated voter list.

According to commission data, the total number of voters in the country is 121,850,160. Among them, male voters are 62,144,587, and female voters are 59,704,641.

There are 932 transgender voters.

The voter list has been updated with an increase of 2.26% in voters. Last year, the total number of voters in the country was 119,151,440.

On January 21, 2024, the EC published the updated draft voter list. After considering and resolving claims and objections, the new voter list was published on Saturday, Voter’s Day.
